2011 COALITION FOR FAMILY HEALTH MEETING

The Coalition for Family Health held its fourth Annual Meeting, held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the YWCA in Columbus!

The program featured a legislative update by coalition partners from Public Children Services Association of Ohio, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Ohio, and NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, as well as an interactive presentation about sexuality education hosted by Ann Hanson of the United Church of Christ.  Representative Nickie Antonio, sponsor of the Ohio Prevention First Act, addressed the luncheon crowd and shared some personal stories that highlighted why she is such a vocal advocate for women’s access to health care.  The day concluded with attendees heading over to the Statehouse to meet with several targeted legislators about the importance of preventative health care.
